The new Samsung Galaxy S2 has achieved over three million pre-orders in the market, announced the Korean mobile giant Samsung. The phone that is the latest Android smartphone from the company has received laudatory reviews in the web worldwide. The handset has also been able to nab the top position in TechRadar’s best mobile phones ranking.
A short while ago, the mobile brand Samsung has confirmed that over 120,000 orders for its Galaxy S 2 had been received in South Korea. However, it seems that demand for the phone is also equally high in other places with the phone making its way to over 120 countries.
With the sales estimates expected to be shattered by the phone, it was reported that sales of 10 million units for the handset was expected by the mobile brand Samsung. If we look at the problems previously faced by the company to supply its Super AMOLED technology (the advanced display technology used in the screen), then the rumors regarding a brewing stock shortage would soon become inevitable.
A higher official of Samsung stated on Flickr that there were demands for preferred orders for the supply of Galaxy S II in some of the countries. He also said that in order to fulfill all the global demands as quickly as possible they will do their best.
The official further stated that that the company will keep a check on the sales of the Galaxy S2 which also is selling like hot cakes in the UK mobile souk. For now we can only wish that our new favourite phone be available to more and more people as possible.
